Your Initial Elm Session

The first step towards naturally improving your golf swing.


The initial Elm is session 90 minutes and consists of 3 steps:

  1. Determining which muscles are are affecting your golf swing: 25 minutes

  2. Releasing the affected muscles: 50 minutes

  3. Consultation: 15 minutes


Step 1:

In the initial session, a postural assessment and a Titleist Performance Institute-based 20-step physical screen will be performed in order to score your body in the five following Swing Centers:

  1. Core Control

  2. Hip and Shoulder Separation

  3. Rotational Flexibility

  4. Maintaining Form Throughout your Swing

  5. Arm Ability

These areas will allow us to determine which muscles are affecting your swing.


Step 2:

Next, soft tissue techniques that provide rapid results will be performed on the affected muscles. This includes a vast amount of soft tissue techniques like myofascial release, orthopedic massage, trigger point therapy, neuro rehabilitation technique, bowen, and IASTM.


Step 3:


During the consultation, targeted areas are reassessed to show improvement. Drills and corrections are suggested for outside practice.

Immediate referrals are recommended for rehabilitation, further improvement of golf swings, and athletic training.

Finally, exclusive home exercise programs designed by Functional Fitness are given that focus on a particular Swing Center. These exercises will sustain your gains from this session to your subsequent session.
